DWSSC organized Kaushal Deekshant Samaroh (Certificate Distribution cum Convocation Ceremony) on the Occasion of Vishwakarma Divas on 16th and 17th September 2022 across 5 Training Centre’s, located in Pune, Ghaziabad, Phagwara, Vellore & Muzaffar Nagar.

Special Invtees, Shri Kapil Dev Aggarwal- BJP MLA and Skill Development Minister, Uttar Pradesh;Ms. Vaishali Tai Barne, Nagar Sevika; Mr. K. Magesh, Zonal President, Hindu Munani,Vellore; Mrs. Thavamani Damodharan (MC), 44th Ward Councilor; Sr. Balwinder Singh Dhaliwal, MLA, Phagwara and Shri Praveen Bhadana Ji (Secretary – BJYM West UP; Shri Sachin Dedha Ji (President – BJYM Ghaziabad) distributes the Certificates to all the trainers and address the audience.

Domestic Workers Sector Skill Council

Domestic Workers Sector Skill Council held its first industry stakeholder meeting on 29 th  July 2022 in New Delhi. The industry stakeholders in the meeting discussed the current challenges of bridging the skill gap in the domestic work and caregiving segment, the scope of employability and understanding of the international market and mobility, amongst others

The Guest of Honor/Chief Guest, Mr. Ved Mani Tiwari, COO & Officiating CEO, NSDC and the eminent panelists for the meet were K Ganesh, Serial Entrepreneur and Promoter – Big Basket, Portea Medical, HomeLane, BlueStone and Director, DWSSC; Ms Pritha Dutt, Director, Empower Foundation; Mr Sunil Gulati, IAS (Retd), Ex-Chief Resident Commissioner, Haryana; and Ms Gitali Thakur, Founder, MyHelp. The meeting was moderated by Mr Sushil Ramola, Co- Founder & Managing Director, B-ABLE & Chairman, DWSSC along with Ms. Mona Gupta, CEO, DWSSC.

DWSSC also facilitated all its Industry Partners for its partnership and support to DWSSC.

This Mahotsav is dedicated to the people of India who have not only been instrumental in bringing India thus far in it’s evolutionary journey but also hold within them the power and potential to enable Prime Minister Modi’s vision of activating India 2.0 fueled by the spirit of Atmanirbhar Bharat.

NDWM COORDINATOR’S MEET

The National Domestic Workers Movement (NDWM) organized a 3-day coordinator’s meet from 6th-8th July 2018 at Mt Thomas International Center (Chennai, Tamil Nadu). The meet was attended by the Union leaders from different States like Delhi, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Assam, Meghalaya, Kerala and Jharkhand and a myriad of topics related to domestic workers and their empowerment were discussed.
