We are happy to share that over 30 people attended the DWSSC Round Table Discussion on February 24, 2023, at TISS in Mumbai, and another 10 people participated online. The topic of discussion was the necessity of implementing transformational initiatives in our thought process and action plan in light of the country's ongoing development of higher order abilities. “Nayi Disha - Hunar se Rozgar Tak” By DWSSC. A lively debate on strategies to enhance the lives of domestic workers and careers across the country, industry partnerships for innovation, and other topics. Padamshree, Shri. Manoj Joshi, a films & theatre personality was the Special Guest said “Domestic Workers & Caregivers have a very strong inherent skill set called Vyavahar. It is an income generating sector leading to ‘Swaraj’ & Samriddhi”. Guest of Honour, Dr. Vineeta Aggarwal, Executive Member from NCVET emphasized that “this sector directly & indirectly leads to increase the Women Participation Workforce”. Besides Ms. Shalini Bharat, Vice Chancellor, TISS & DWSSC Director, our Chairperson Ms. Pritha Dutt, CEO DWSSC, Ms. Mona Gupta, and other panelist highlighted the need for digitization, the huge potential of workforce into the International Migration. During the open house, related topics were discussed, including the need to disperse our training platforms across the country, the incorporation of cutting-edge technology, the requirement to raise money through CSR initiatives for improved infrastructures and training inputs, and the creation of a Special Invitation Group for the inclusion and diversity of new generation and upcoming demand aggregations across the nation.

stakeholder meeting on 29 th July 2022 in New Delhi. The industry
stakeholders in the meeting discussed the current challenges of
bridging the skill gap in the domestic work and caregiving segment,
the scope of employability and understanding of the international
market and mobility, amongst others
The Guest of Honor/Chief Guest, Mr. Ved Mani Tiwari, COO & Officiating CEO, NSDC and the eminent panelists for the meet were K Ganesh, Serial Entrepreneur and Promoter – Big Basket, Portea Medical, HomeLane, BlueStone and Director, DWSSC; Ms Pritha Dutt, Director, Empower Foundation; Mr Sunil Gulati, IAS (Retd), Ex-Chief Resident Commissioner, Haryana; and Ms Gitali Thakur, Founder, MyHelp. The meeting was moderated by Mr Sushil Ramola, Co- Founder & Managing Director, B-ABLE & Chairman, DWSSC along with Ms. Mona Gupta, CEO, DWSSC.
DWSSC also facilitated all its Industry Partners for its partnership and support to DWSSC.

With the growing need to provide a sustainable livelihood to these communities, this session of #Charcha2021 will have stakeholders and organisations come together to discuss skilling, upskilling and reskilling initiatives as well as address the issue of low- female participation in the labour force.

The meet was attended by the Union leaders from different States like Delhi, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Assam, Meghalaya, Kerala and Jharkhand and a myriad of topics related to domestic workers and their empowerment were discussed.
